Thanks onaujee, Jan 21, 2004 #1 faustmonk Member Joined: Jan 25, 2004 Messages: 1 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 Hi I've had the same problem and tried dvd Shrink. Dvd Decryptor etc etc. Tried to create image files .... no go! Bang! .... I suddenly thought ....what about reading from my DVD writer (pioneer 106)? ... worked like a dream .. created an image file through clone dvd and burnt it through CloneDVD (both with Anydvd running) .. all done! Hope this helps! faustmonk, Jan 25, 2004 #2 lsdod Member Joined: Jan 17, 2004 Messages: 15 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 yeah, im using a pioneer 106 writer and a pioneer 120S reader. A few dvds i got those read errors with (they were kinda dodgy dvds to start with) i tried using clonedvd, dvddecrypter, nero, a few others with both of my drives but couldn't solve the problem. Then i installed dvdfab and while the read error still occured i was able to select an option to ignore all read errors, once it was finished it done something to make sure the dvd played properly, this seemed to work and the dvd's play back ok. Obviously though this does skip a couple sectors of the dvd, depending on how many errors you get. lsdod, Jan 28, 2004 #3 amelie Member Joined: Oct 19, 2003 Messages: 18 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 I have had this problem a few times (out of burning more than 300 discs) and it has always been because the dvd is in crappy condition. after exchanging the dvd for a different copy, everything works great as usual. amelie, Jan 28, 2004 #4 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.) I must say that this is my first message in this forum. I have read your software reviews that helped me a lot and personally for me AnyDVD and CloneDVD work pretty fine together in dubbing. No problems so far. Yesterday though I run into a problem. I tried to copy 102 Dalmatians for my little daughter and read error tcsectorreader in CloneDVD when it reached about 92% of reading I got a message like the one below: Create of DVD Files was not successful Scheduler 0 H:/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.VOB:2147681033 : read error TC Sector Reader TCE Can someone help me with this error? It also repeated it with Pocahontas. I copied around 15 others in the same day without any trouble, so is it some kind of problem due to the disk? It doesn't seem to have any surface defects, scratches or anything. Moreover I can't burn an ISO image with DVD Decrypter as well, nor with Smart Ripper. They keep producing errors in certain VOB parts and stick. And if I may ask another one. Is there a DVD that AnyDVD can't decrypt? In a certain DVD...I can't recall which... I got an AnyDVD error message when I inserted it. You know...the one with the explanations that either it's a dirty disc or a damaged one etc. But none of this is accurate. The disc wasn't dirty or damaged and I am using AnyDVD_v3.0.0.7 and CloneDVD_v1.3.11.2. My DVD writer is an LG 4040B A300. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance for the wonderful forum and informative site. Best regards, venomslegions Quote + Reply to Thread Quick Navigation DVD
has this problem or anyone who can solve it... still looking. Tyler has some good answers, hope someone can help with this. When Burning/backing up DVD's with Clone (and ANYDVD) 3 times out of 5 I will get this error message. ERROR CREATING DVD FILES Creation of DVD Files Was Not Sucessful: Schedular O F:/Video_TS/VTS_01_2.vob:23 Read Error TC Sector Reader TCE OK Now, I get this message when it is trying to read the disk. With Lizzy McGuire it did it at 13%, Johnny English was at 9% while Buffalo Soldiers got to 90%(!!!). I have tried to copy & paste the video & audio files directly onto my hard drive, but that has failed during the video file as well. I tried to clean the disks using Car Polish (I think it was Tyler that made that suggestion in an earlier post) and even an electric buffer, but even thats no good. And yes, there are little scratches on the disk, but surely if its good enough to play the thing through one of the players, its good enough to burn. I am using latest Clone & Sly Sony DRU +/- Burner My undies are a size... and i'm a piscies TylerDurden05-02-2004, 05:43I take it your using AnyDVD and CloneDVD with the movie being ripped on the fly. I recommend just ripping the movie to your hdd first (the entire movie) then while the movie is on your hdd use CloneCD to rework it to fit on a dvd. Tyler! ozdrew05-02-2004, 14:09Thanks Tyler, but how do I go about getting the movie to my hard drive? Thats the whole problem. I havent had one failure writing, only reading. TylerDurden05-02-2004, 16:41Make sure you have AnyDVD ON. Then just browse the dvd. Copy all the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder to a folder on your hdd. You can just drag and drop all of them. Tyler! ozdrew05-02-2004, 17:06Sorry dude, thought i already said, I tried to copy and paste them directly onto the hard drive and it always fails during the video_TS folder. I was all excited, thinking you were going to show me the way... ozdrew05-02-2004, 17:07and yes, any dvd is on. TylerDurden05-02-2004, 17:48Ok another way to do it is just get dvd decrypter from www.dvddecrypter.com. Set it to select all files and use it to transfer all your files to your hdd. Tyler! ozdrew05-02-2004, 18:41ok, I will try it, let you know how i go... thanks again tyler, you are really quick getting back to me each time, i appreciate it. ozdrew0
