Internet Explorer 6 Runtime Error
want to download or see a pdf file on the net, this error window appears. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error Program:C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/822521 This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information If I click ENTER for a few times, it will show an ieframe.dll error. I'm using windows 7 and IE 9. The "Tool" function on the topleft hand corner https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/72109eec-f567-45a5-a787-bca10c52f424/need-fix-for-microsoft-visual-c-runtime-library-runtime-error?forum=w7itprogeneral is somehow disabled. Methods I've tried: 1. Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (no use) 2. Clean boot using MSCONFIG (no use) (since I must surf the net to download or see the pdf file. But the problem is on theInternet Explorer.) 3. Uninstall IE 9 and reinstall it (no use) Could someone please help me ? Thank you very much. This just started to happen http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/194296/microsoft-visual-c-runtime-library-iexploreexe-error-no-solution-seems-to-work/ today, worked fine yesterday. I try to open explorer, from desktop or an email link and get this message: Microsoft Visuall C++ Runtime library Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe This application has requested runtime error the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more info. XP does not try to send an error message, like it does when something crashes. I tried a system restore to yesterday but that didn't work. Thought I'd try here for any suggestions before restoring any earlier. Thanks for any help! Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library iexplore.exe error- no solution seems to work Started by pink26 , Jan 11 2009 12:57 PM Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next This topic is locked 17 replies to this topic #1 pink26 pink26 Members 9 posts OFFLINE Local time:01:21 AM Posted 11 January 2009 - 12:57 PM I have IE 7 with Windows Service Pack 3. Recently I've received the message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library has encountered a runtime error with Program:C/ProgramFiles/InternetExplorer/iexplore.exe and the program closes. I've tried Mozilla Firefox and I receive a similar error and sometimes Firefox won't even come up. I tried disabling and enabling add-ons one at a time, but nothing seems to work. The error message doesn't appear on certain websites or as soon as I open IE. It occurs at random times and when I try to re-open IE, the message appears again. It works fine after I restart my computer. Please, if anyone can help.
