Program: E:\setup\rsrc\cod2.exe R6034 An application has made an attept to load te C runtime library inorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information. Previous to this error i had an error for library MSVcr80.dll i downloaded that and extracted it into windows/ system directory. Advertisement matt-h Thread Starter Joined: Apr 30, 2006 Messages: 333 Got round to playin COD2 again for the first time in over a month probably due to loads of coursework. However I got this message after I put the disc in Code: D:\setup\rsrc\cod2.exe Executable 'D:\setup\rsrc\cod2.exe' had the following unrecoverable error: Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll (required by C:\PROGRAM~1\COMMON~1|MICROS~1\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL) Please ensure that it is installed I only installed Office 12 around the 5th March http://forums.miranda-im.org/showthread.php?17785-Runtime-Error-when-installing-Call-of-Duty-2 so it may be possible I didnt play COD2 after that. Anyway, I went to dll-files.com and found what I was looking for. It said to put it in windows/system and I got this message: Code: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error Program:D:\setip\rsrc\cod2.exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information I presume that a reinstall would do nothing https://forums.techguy.org/threads/call-of-duty-2-pc-load-error.559754/ because I doubt COD2 installed that dll file Any help would be appreciated. matt-h, Apr 9, 2007 #1 Sponsor romerb2 Joined: May 2, 2007 Messages: 1 I'm having this problem too. I had COD2 installed on my computer before I re-installed XP, and then I tried to reinstall and I just get an error message. "Runtime Error! Program: F:\setup\rsrc\cod2.exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information." Then when I press "OK" I get - "Executable 'F:\setup\rsrc\cod2.exe' had the following unrecoverable error: Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll (required by CROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL) Please ensure that it is installed. " Well I do have MSVCR80.dll installed in C:Windows\System. I woulod really like to play this game. Would it help to uninstall Office? romerb2, May 2, 2007 #2 matt-h Thread Starter Joined: Apr 30, 2006 Messages: 333 You can still play the game using the shortcuts in Start >> All Programs Therefore I think the problem lies with trying to run setup or autorun matt-h, May 3, 2007 #3 gmpk Joined: Jan 15, 2006 Messages: 6 im trying to install COD2 RIGHT NOW, but im getting the SAAAME error. this is really bugging me cause i've installed COD2 on my computer before and i have a saved game

I have call of duty war chest, and I get the same error for both call of duty and call of duty united offensive. I try to start/resume a game and it take me back to the Main Menu and I get the same message (run time script error) User Info: mikebilak mikebilak - 8 years ago Top Voted Answer It's been reported that Winupdate may be causing problems. You may want to install all updates first, then uninstall, and then reinstall. It seems like a DirectX problem with runtime, so check that too. If all else fails, call customer service or try to get a replacement copy if your disk is defective. User Info: bibliomaniac15 bibliomaniac15 - 8 years ago 1 0 Answers Maybe the file is corrupted.
