The most common reason for this error is a bug in the app, or a corrupted installation. You can try these steps to fix this error:Use the Apps and Features or Programs and Features page in the Control Panel to repair or reinstall the program. Upon startup of After Effects CS3 i receive a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime http://www.justskins.com/forums/runtime-error-1170.html Error, -R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call" which cancels the entire setup. I've tried all of these strategies: -deleting and re-installing the program -deleted the preference files. -removing the opengl plugin -creating a different admin account and installing under that I know another strategy is to reinstall the system, but I don't want to go that runtime error route quite yet. Does anybody have a solution to this??! Thanks in advance for anyhelp thrown my way!Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: Runtime Error, please help!by Jack Watts on Jan 12, 2009 at 1:09:51 pmTry to repair the system with your installation disk and if that doesnt work you will probably have to do a complete restoration.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: Runtime Error, please help!by marc dejesus runtime error r6025 on Jan 14, 2009 at 10:19:50 amThank God I didnt have to reinstall the system... because it was already on a machine that was downconverted from vista to xp pro. Anyway, my tech friend was able to solve the problem, it was probably a recently installed screen capture software... however we still had to run the adobecs3cleaner program and he had to go through and really scope out all the .dll files... pain in the but, its always good to have a techy friend...Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: Runtime Errorby Amir Dori on Jun 26, 2011 at 2:01:18 pmhi, just wanted to know if that "screen capture software" was SnagIt or Camtasia Studio by any chance?
