Below is the line that generated the error: Code: lvw.ListItems(lvw.ListItems.Count).SubItems(1) = OutlookAddressEntry.Address Below is also my entire FormLoad module: Code: Private Sub Form_Load() Set OutlookApp = New Outlook.Application Set OutlookMailItem = OutlookApp.CreateItem(olMailItem) Set OutlookNameSpace = OutlookApp.GetNamespace("MAPI") lvw.ListItems.Clear For Each OutlookAddressList In OutlookNameSpace.AddressLists For Each OutlookAddressEntry In OutlookAddressList.AddressEntries lvw.ListItems.Add , , OutlookAddressEntry.Name lvw.ListItems(lvw.ListItems.Count).SubItems(1) = OutlookAddressEntry.Address lvw.ListItems(lvw.ListItems.Count).SubItems(2) = OutlookAddressEntry.ID lvw.ListItems(lvw.ListItems.Count).Tag = OutlookAddressEntry.ID Next Next End Sub Any help will b greatly appreciated Thanks, GiftX Reply With Quote July 26th, 2007,08:24 AM #2 WoF View Profile View Forum Posts Elite Member Join Date Jul 2006 Location Germany Posts 3,725 Re: Run-time Error: 380 - Invalid property value. This error comes up if you havent created columns in your ListView control. The .SubItems() property is available only if you have more than one column created at design time. time error 380 in VB6 - invalid property value rated by 0 users This post has 11 Replies | 1 Follower JudyKamber Syosset, NY Since 8/27/2009 Posts 6 Reputation 120 Reply Judy Kamber (JudyKamber) Posted: 8/27/2009 1:57 PM rated by 0 users I have a VB6 application which reads a flat file using File System Object and populates a database table. Every so often (maybe half the time), the application fails with a run time error 380 - invalid property value. This program is running on a background server in the LAN room so no one is touching it. It just fails. Then I restart it and it usually completes without a problem using the same exact flat file and the same database table.I can't find anything out there which might explain this strange error so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! | Post Points: 95 ACPFantasy West Java Since 7/13/2009 Posts 44 Reputation 350 Reply Alexander Christian (ACPFantasy) replied on 8/27/2009 5:27 PM rated by 0 users Sure there's something wrong with your code.Since I don't know what you do in your code "exactly", I can only suggest you to debug it yourself. Find the code/line which cause that error. In case you don't know how, let me tell you one:I assume that you didn't use error handler (according to the situation: you don't know where the error came from, .... if you know why you don't post that code ^^)So, Try running your program in VB IDE, and just keep it running until the error is raised. Then you will know the code which is raising that error. | Post Points: 5 JudyKamber Syosset, NY Since 8/27/2009 Posts 6 Reputation 120 Reply Judy Kamber (JudyKamber) replied on 8/27/2009 5:53 PM rated by 0 users Thanks for your attempt at helping, ACPFantasy, I guess I need to give more detail.I've run this through VB debug on my workstation and NEVER had this problem. It's only when I run the executable on the server that the problem occurs. So I put in literally hundreds of writes to our message log table to track the progress of the reading of the file and writing to the database to see if there's a pattern as to when it fails and when it works. No help.I also put a write to the message log into each and
