Please contact the application's support." I can somewhat navigate Windows Explorer but it hangs when trying to open C:. I also get this error sometimes when right-clicking to open the drop down menu. Closing the error window reloads the desktop. Chkdsk scan was clean; SFC returned no errors; message also occurs in Safe Mode; System Restore had no effect. The issue presented around the time that a phishing email was opened in Outlook. I don't know if its related. I did several different AV scans but found nothing but free range malware, PUPs. A Mcafee QuickClean was also run the day before. Either hit Windows key + R, click start and go to run, or open the task manager with Ctrl+Alt+Del and click file and then new task, but whichever way you do it, get a run command box up..
