Choose Go... Select SmartView and choose Enable If Smart View is not listed in the Disabled Items dialog box, a Windows Registry modification will be necessary to resolve the issue. Note: Make sure you have a backup copy of Windows Registry, before attempting to make any changes in it. hsaddin.dll crash In Windows Registry find following key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Resiliencyand delete the entry pointing to the HsAddin.dll: Open RegEdit Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Resiliency(Note: This location refers to Office 2007. Error 53- HsAddin File not found Suksham Sharma asked May 30, 2008 | Replies (5) We use the Hyperion Smartview as a Microsoft Office Add-in.When the user opens the excel that we have created,it asks for his id and pwd to login.Ideally what should happen is that using the VBA code the user should connect to Smartview and do his stuff. Problem:A number of users face the 'Error 53-File Not found HsAddin'.It only means that the HsAddin.dll goes missing. When the software (Smartview for Office)is re-installed
