Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library iexplore.exe error- no solution seems to work Started by pink26 , Jan 11 2009 12:57 PM Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next This topic is locked 17 replies to this topic #1 pink26 pink26 Members 9 posts OFFLINE Local time:08:43 AM Posted 11 January 2009 - 12:57 PM I have IE 7 with Windows Service Pack 3. Recently I've received the message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library has encountered a runtime error with Program:C/ProgramFiles/InternetExplorer/iexplore.exe and the program closes. I've tried Mozilla Firefox and I receive a similar error and sometimes Firefox won't even come up. I tried disabling and enabling add-ons one at a time, but nothing seems to work. The error message doesn't appear on certain websites or as soon as I open IE. It occurs at random times and when I try to re-open IE, the message appears again. It works fine after I restart my computer. Please, if anyone can help. It's very annoying!DDS (Ver_09-01-07.01) - NTFSx86 Run by Owner at 12:35:21.17 on Sun 01/11/2009Internet Explorer: 7.0.5730.13 BrowserJavaVersion: 1.6.0_11Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600.3.125
