Uninstall then reinstall into a new directory and if you can do this in safe mode so you can be sure nothing else is running in the background that is messing up the install. If you have anti virus software turn it off while installing!Scoring disabled. All installations of QB 2004 Pro work with other data sets. I'm beginning to think it is in the data set. Any further hints? Please help! KevinScoring disabled. If so can you open the data file giving the error on any other computer? If you can't then I would recommend either restoring a back up or running an external rebuild on a COPY of the data file. It's important you do the rebuild on a copy just incase. To run an external rebuild: 1. Click once on your QB Icon on the desktop 2. Hold the CTRL key down and press Enter. Once you are at the No Company Open Window you can release the CTRL key. 3. Select File, Utilities then Rebuild, navigate to select your company file. Ensure you are not doing this over the network, it needs to be done on a local computer.Scoring disabled. You must be logged in to score posts.Respon
