Error involving QuickBooks Discussion in 'Software' started by auntsushi, Apr 2, 2006. auntsushi Private E-2 I was having lots of popups, but successfully solved that problem by going through READ ME and following the steps. Somehow during all of this, my Quickbooks has stopped working. I cannot open it and get the following message: Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library: Runtime Error! Program:C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooksPro\qbw32.exe abnormal program termination. I deleted nothing manually--only those "bad things" scanned with the various programs were deleted by the program https://community.intuit.com/tags/runtime%20error itself. The computer is a Dell Inspiron1150, Mobile Intel(R)Pentium(R); NTFS file system; 2.66GHz; 1.60GHz, 256m of RAM; Windows XP Home Edition OS. I have brought the laptop home from work for the weekend to try to solve this problem. My boss is almost having a heart attack, as all Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, and Inventory for the company are in Quickbooks. Yikes!!
