Hello, I've been having my first issue with Skyrim (with over 120+ hours). As described in the title, it's a runtime error, and it stops the runtime error r6025 game. I think others have had it (something to do with DLC) but I haven't found a solution. I've never had issues with it, and I know it's not my computer. I recently upgraded from an Acer with Windows 7 (the error appeared there too) and now I'm on a Dell Inspiron with Windows 10 (previously 8.1). I'll post the specs, but first I'll describe the error.I'll be playing Skyrim, for a good while (probably about an hour), then the screen will be still (the sound keeps rolling) and I'll hear the sound you get when an error occurs. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL out of it to see the error message (which I can't view, I have to hover over it, hence no screenshot) Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error R6025. Then I must close the error message manually. After this, a window will say "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution, then both Skyrim and the solution box close.I can't disable the DLC (I've already started Hearthfire and Dragonborn, just finished Dawnguard) and I can't tell you exactly when it started (though I'm fairly certain it was around when I started Dawnguard)I've verified the cache, and because this issue persisted across multiple computers, I assume this is an issue wit
ProductsHomearound the homeproductivityHow to Fix Runtime Error R6025How to Fix Runtime Error R6025By Ty ArthurWhen an application or other process ends abruptly, Microsoft Windows often compiles an error report designed to explain what went wrong. Sometimes this results in an error message like "Runtime Error R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call." This error means that an application tried to call upon a virtual member function from a source that wouldn't accept that call. For example, if you are playing a video game hosted online and the server goes down, your computer could generate this error.Step 1Read the Runtime error message to see what program crashed. Click "OK" to close the error message window.Step 2Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys and press the Esc key to launch Task Manager.Step 3Click the "Processes" tab and click on the "Image Name" column header. Scroll down through the list of processes to make sure the original program that gave the error message is not on the list. If it is in the list, click it and then click "End Process."Step 4Restart your computer, and open a Web browser to ensure you have Internet access. If you don't, wait until your Internet is running again. Open the the program that crashed.Tips & WarningsLook for updates released by the developer whenever an application crashes. If the problem continues to happen, and you are certain that the remote server and your Internet connection are both running normally, uninstall and then reinstall the problem application.References & ResourcesMicrosoft: Description of the R6025 run-time error in Visual C++RelatedHome Automation on a Budget: A Smart Home for Under $100Smart Home20 Things We Can Look Forward to After the Digital ApocalypseProductivityThe 22 Coolest Gadgets We Saw at CES 2016ProductivityThe 5 Best Waterproof Activity TrackersProductivityHow to Upload Pictures From an iPhoneProductivityHOW WE SCOREABOUT USCONTACT USTERMS OF USEPRIVACY POLICY©2016 Demand Media, Inc.Login | Sign UpSign UpLog InCreate an account and join the conversation!Or Forgot Password?
