I've never heard of that error before. First thing I would try is running Excel in Safe mode (hold down Ctrl key while launching Excel). - if the runtime error problem goes away then an add-in or startup program is the cause; try a process of elimination - if the problem is still there, come back and tell us. What has changed since yesterday? - an update installed? Try rolling it back - something else? Was this answer helpful? 00 · 04/18/2012 07:10 Artemaria I started excel in safe mode like you suggested and it saved without any errors. I had runtime error r6025 installed AspenPlus V7.2(a chemical engineering simulator) on my computer yesterday morning and it installed 2 excel add-ins. I removed both of these add-ins and everything is now running fine. I am not sure why it was running yesterday and not today, but at least it's working now! Thanks again! Was this answer helpful? 00 · 04/18/2012 07:11 NataliaPeterson Open Excel then go to File, Options, Add-Ins. If I remember correctly, it was the two COM add-ins that were causing the problems, so at the bottom of the "View and Manage Microsoft Add-Ins" page select COM Add-Ins and click "Go." Select the ASPEN add-ins that show up and tell excel to remove them. Finally, restart your computer and open Excel back up. I have not had a recurrance of the problem since I removed the add-ins so hopefully everything will work for you now too. Good luck!
