Looks like you cut and pasted that answer from somewhere. Your post refers to a laser scanner scanner error in a printer, not the scanner in the upper document scanner assembly of Steve's unit, which produces the scanner error "2" not "52". Usually when the lamps in the upper scanner assembly dont come on and warm up you will get that error. by Texas Blues on Jul 30, 2007 at 11:10am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 TB,Every now and then I get confused, but out of my 6,000 plus posts hp color laserjet I think I got most of them right, .http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/members/directory/StephenST by Stephen on Jul 30, 2007 at 6:08pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Im sure you do ST, I just thought it was funny! - Texas Blues 0 dont know why you bought a 2840 in the first place. did u figure it out, i had a similar issue about 6 months ago, it was the LVPS.h by heathster on Aug 6, 2007 at 6:30am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Reference my 2840 Laserjet: When I scan a document and preview it, everything works fine and I can see the entire page as a preview; but when I attmept to scan the document, I can see half the page scanned and then the scan stops and I get an error message without a reference number.
