Due to ongoing sharing violations, DFS Replication cannot replicate files in the replicated folders listed above. This problem is affecting 7 sharing violation files in 2 replicated folders. Event ID: 4302" It then lists a number of filenames. The files are all backup-do-disk files. (We are backing up an exchange database to disk and then using DFS to replicate the backup-do-disk files to the central hub) However the error seems to persist (even after the backup tasks have dfs error one all completed) and I cannot see a way of prompting DFS to have another go at replicating the problem files other than rebooting the service. Is there a way of doing this or possibly a way of having the service automatically retry locked files periodically? liam sponsored links 2 23rd February 17:52 jill zoeller [msft] External User Posts: 1 One or more replicated folders have sharing violations Could the problem be the issue described in http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/archive/2006/05/15/428148.aspx?
