Every single time I attempt to log in to my MSN account, after a few seconds a message box pops up and tells me that I have signed on from a different location, and then immediately disconnects MSN. I am able to sign in to AIM, Yahoo!, and GTalk perfectly well, and no errors occur there - only with MSN. I have tried all of the recommended troubleshooting, to no avail. I did download MSN Messenger, and the problem does not occur there. However, I can't get Adium to stop showing the same "You have signed in from another location" error message when I try to sign in to MSN. comment:2 Changed 6 years ago by Dimmuxx Resolution set

years ago Last modified 5 years ago #14681 new defect MSN: Continually being disabled Reported by: Aizea Owned by: QuLogic Milestone: Component: MSN Version: 2.10.0 Keywords: Cc: Description (last modified by Aizea) I just downloaded the client from the website the other day, so I know it's the latest version. I input my MSN information and it seemed to work. But then it started fouling up. Usually 1-2 times per hour, I get the message that my MSN account was "disabled" due to being signed on in another location. This is news to me, because I'm not running the MSN client, or any other client to get on the account. I'm not visiting any websites that could be associated with the MSN account. Most of the time, I'm not even at the PC and this happens. Nothing whatsoever is going on the Internet, other than Visual WGet, for a download. So I can't figure why it is doing this. I believe this is it. (00:20:01) certificate: Successfully verified certificate for login.live.com (00:20:01) soap: Sending secure request.
