I added the SNMP Custom sensor to monitor Firewall Concurrent Connections of our one of the Checkpoint https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/23283-got-no-such-object-snmp-error-222 Firewall with below OID OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.1.25.3.0 I am getting an error message as "No such object (SNMP Error #222)" for this SNMP Custom sensors and all other sensors are green and running. But for other Checkpoint Firewalls I am getting good value with Same OID for Firewall Concurrent Connections. Thank you for helping me. prtg snmp-custom-sensor snmp-error#2 snmp-error#2003 snmp-sensor Created on Feb 13, 2015 1:42:26 PM by Kunal Sawarkar https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/63280-get-an-error-message-no-such-object-snmp-error-222 (0) ●1 Permalink 3 Replies Votes:0 Your Vote: Up Down Hi, test the OID with the snmp-Tester from here. If you get a result something "on the way" may be wrong. If you get no result, and other snmp sensors on your device will work, there is no such value on this machine. Try a walk with the Tester to find the correct OIDs. hth Martin Add comment Created on Feb 16, 2015 11:33:00 AM by Martin Wegner (730) ●2 ●1 Permalink Votes:0 Your Vote: Up Down Hello Martin, Thanks for your prompt response. I tried with SNMP tester, but getting same error :( All other sensors are for that Checkpoint firewall is working correctly with good value. Please suggest. Check the snmp configof these firewall, is it the same as the other ones? Is the general config of the firewall different? maybe you can post the walk? hth Martin Add comment Created o

This is the same computer running the local probe. Also, if I use SNMPTester 5.1 to interrogate some of these custom OID sensors, I get an empty snmp error value with SNMP v1 and error #222 with SNMP version 3. On this same PC, PRTG is correctly reporting other local custom OIDs even though these ones are all internally created OIDs and not defined by HP. Is there some configuration that will restrict the local probe from reading its own hardware? Any other thing I can check? error-222 oid snmp Created on Aug 23, 2013 4:45:54 PM by knji (0) ●1 Permalink 2 Replies Votes:0 Your Vote: no such object Up Down On the local probe computer do you have the necessary HP software installed to create the OID' s that you are trying to query? Also, have you set up the SNMP agent to allow PRTG to request that information from the software? In addition to the above solution you posted, we also had another custom SNMP Agent running on port 161 causing port contention. When we stopped our custom service, we were able to monitor all HP sensors on the probing server. But when i list all available OIDs with snmpwalk tool, i get results for many and many values inside of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.387.1.7.8 What am i doing wrong, or maybe the same thing can be achieved differently? Could you please run a "Walk" test using our SNMP Tester v5 Beta and forward us the resulting log file to support@paessler.com. Please refer to this thread in order to be able to associate the case. If you add a SNMP Custom sensor for one of the complete OID entries in the walk, for exapmple 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.387.1.7.8.1.2.13, you should be able t
