I know this occurs during installation - not sure how the process goes. 0 Thai Pepper OP Helpful Post Jeff1792 Apr 7, 2014 at 5:42 UTC They may be already on the PC just not registered. Look in the folder where KB points. If there then do a regsvr32 otherwise: 1) Contact your software supplier 2) If you have VB 6 you could make a new project and INCLUDE Microsoft Data Report Designer v6.0. then packge it up. The installer will have your DDLs. 3) Copy from a working computer in your shop. 0 Chipotle OP Best Answer Tom4137 Apr 7, 2014 at 5:52 UTC download mdac and give that try - likely the dlls and ocx may be there and only need regsvr32 to make system aware 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year. On my pc with win2000 and on winxp, this application works fine. However when I tried to go https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23239405/Run-time-Error-'713'.html on another pc with win2000 that was connected through network neighbourhood to the first pc with win2000, I get this error.Run-time error '713': Application-defined or object defined error Any ideas as to what causes time error this? Um, I don't have crystal reports on the pc which is having the problem. I have it on the pc that I made the application on, but my vb6 comes with crystal reports wrapped up in it also. Wouldn't the visual installer take the necessary files it needs with it? I don't have crystal reports on the other pc that I have installed everything on and it is currently working.I am just curious as to why you think this might be the problem. Do you think it is missing a dll file or something? Anyhow, it can't hurt anything to throw this on to see if it works. That will cause a licensing problem then though.thanks thanksleadfingerhttp://www3.nbnet.nb.ca/gspil | Post Points: 5 AliG Lebanon Since 3/7/2004 Posts 165 Reputation 840 Reply Ali Nehme (AliG) replied on 4/6/2004 7:46 AM rated by 0 users all crystalReports before the 9.2 will not work unless you install it on everypc where yo

Solved Run-time Error '713' Posted on 2008-03-13 Visual Basic Classic 1 Verified Solution 14 Comments 5,480 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-05 I have written a VB6 application that uses Crystal Reports 9 to display and print reports. The application has been distributed to several computers and on most is working correctly. However, on two computers it is producing the following error when the user tries to create a CR report: Run-time error '713': Application-defined or object defined error The application is distributed and installed on each computer using the VB PDW and seems to be working just fine in the install process. I have researched the internet to confirm that all required .dlls are included in the install package but I think one or more may be missing. Here are some links that I have used and followed but the results are still the same: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/248055 http://p2p.wrox.com/archive/crystal_reports/2001-11/8.asp Thanks for the help. This article indicates that the 713 is really a MS VB error but it relates to a dll not being registered.
