Runtime Error This Application Has Requested Windows 7

this problem 44885 views Last reply by FranB7077 2 years ago FranB7077 Posted 9/15/14, 6:31 PM For several weeks runtime error this application has requested windows 8 Firefox crashes when I close it down for the day. Firefox error message box sends crash report. Today I got I think from Firefox: please create a tag within a https://productforums.google.com/d/msg/chrome/jxIG0YVJ6Po/ZqwOaDez4EMJ "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". Then there's a second file it says to add. Umm, where/how? The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1020238 the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. Okay, but under ProgramFiles>Firefox there are several folders and none of them say "root" so where am I to create said file and how do I get it there? And then what? I sure don't want to crash Firefox any more than it does as it at least still works. For several weeks Firefox crashes when I close it down for the day. Firefox error message box sends crash report.
