Join Now Hey there Spiceys Have a nerve wrecker We have Pastel Xpress 12 installed on our server. operating system server essentials 2012. the users that access Pastel are using Windows 7 Pro x64 from one workstation at different times. The first user logs on and is fine when I log off and then logon as user 2 i receive a runtime error 75 file/path not accesible, I have done all the file permission fixes and even for test purposes made the user an administrator local and domain still running into the same problem . Any ideas ? One thing to mention is http://www.techportal.co.za/windows/123-pastel/468-runtime-error-75-pathfile-access-error-pastel-xpress.html that when removing read only attributes on the pastel folder it just reverts back to been read only, although having said that User 1 is just a standard user and is able to access pastel fine. I've contacted Pastel support and they just keep going through the same steps I've completed which is ; Check my pervasive version ( which is 10) and then check my file permissions on the folder . That would cause a file/path not accessible error when User 2 then tries to open it. Just a thought. 0 Serrano OP Liam6206 Jun 20, 2014 at 4:40 UTC Thanks for the reply Jholiday , I had thought of that so I restarted the laptop and logged in as user 2 but it gave the same error. 0 Serrano OP Best Answer Liam6206 Jun 20, 2014 at 8:10 UTC Ok So I managed to fix this after playing around with it a bit I set all the user permissions back to normal and have the following settings: Two Users , One Workstation , Pastel installed on Server User 1 logs on in the morning User 2 logs on in the afternoon User Group for users are Power User on domain and Workstation, Windows 7 X64 Professional.
