This could occur if the Access table has had a field deleted or renamed. Such as, the Excel (query) table, or whatever, is looking for fields in the Access table of One, Two & Three. When these fields exist in the Access table, all is good. If field Three is deleted, or maybe renamed to NewThree, the Excel table's query is looking for One, Two & Three but only finding One & Two. OR, maybe the SQL used by the Excel file has been changed and there is a field name used that isn't available. So, it might be like below. HTH, Fazza
