The call was: ps2pdf book.ps book.pdf The input file book.ps exists in the current directory. Is there a list of Ghostscript error messages and what they mean somewhere? (Google was not my friend in this case.) ghostscript share|improve this question asked Mar 28 '12 at 10:21 Kit Fisto 2,00431324 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 4 down vote accepted This is not a Ghostscript error message, its a PostScript error messa

Unless you are expert in disassembling PostScript and PDF that's about all you can say from that. However, that looks very much like a bug which was fixed some time ago, you don't say which version of Ghostscript you are using but I can see you are using 9.07, the current version is 9.10, I would suggest you upgrade. share|improve this answer answered Sep 19 '13 at 20:34 KenS 15.3k11325 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. The job seems to go to the queue, then is removed silently. I tried Printing|Help|Troubleshoot and did not receive a specific advice but was able to set debug mode and receive an error log that I am attaching as troubleshoot.txt.gz (gzipped because otherwise it exceeds 19K limit). The only suspicious line seems to be: 'D [12/May/2012:19:36:03 -0400] [Job 31] GPL Ghostscript 9.05: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1', but maybe I just do not see something else. Any advice on how to fix the issue?
