DerekHill, Dec 21, 2011 Top #1 Member obcd GBAtemp Advanced Maniac Joined: Apr 5, 2011 Messages: 1,594 Country: I don't know that program, but it looks like the error is caused by the program not using an ios with the proper rights to install the cios. It might help if you could post a syscheck of all your wii installed ios. Did you follow any guide to install the cios? obcd, Dec 21, 2011 Top #2 OP Newcomer DerekHill Member Joined: cios 222 installer Dec 21, 2011 Messages: 12 well for the sake of trying to get it to work, do you have 4.3U and a working usb loader? syscheck came back with nothing saying everything checked out. DerekHill, Dec 21, 2011 Top #3 Member obcd GBAtemp Advanced Maniac Joined: Apr 5, 2011 Messages: 1,594 Country: Looks like you used the modmii syscheck that finds out if every ios is up to date? I was talking about the general one that shows the revisions of all installed ios and their goodies. I live in europe, so my wii is on the E system menu. What cios are you trying to install? Did you follow a guide for your softmod? Maybe all the proper cios are already installed, and wan't allow you to overwrite them. If your run usbloader_gx, what is happening? obcd, Dec 21, 2011 Top #4 OP Newcomer DerekHill Member Joined: Dec 21, 2011 Messages: 12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO2Md7j4n4Q trying tof ollow this part. but it crashes at the cIOS DerekHill, Dec 22, 2011 Top #5 OP Newcomer DerekHill Member Joined: Dec 21, 2011 Messages: 12 if i run usb loader it gives me an error that ios249 or 222 is not installed. but when i try to install it i get the -2011 error. How To Back Up And Play Your Wii Games From An External wbfs manager wii Hard Drive Jason Fitzpatrick 17 April 2010 2:00 AM Discuss Bookmark facebook twitter reddit linkedin google+ Connecting an dop mii external hard drive to your Wii to backup and play your games is a simple way to keep expensive discs out of harms way, decrease game load times and https://gbatemp.net/threads/ret-2011.316544/ organise your collection with swanky cover art. Here's how it works. Last year we shared two guides with you that other people had written — the original and a revision — on how to back up and play your Wii games from an external hard drive. Unfortunately, like many things on the internet, the guides faded into the digital http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2010/04/how-to-back-up-and-play-your-wii-games-from-an-external-hard-drive/ night (read: they were taken down). Setting up your Wii with an external hard drive is a wildly popular topic, however, and since the old guides went offline, we've received daily emails on the topic. In response to the demand, here's our own complete guide to setting up your Wii to play games from a USB hard drive. When laid out screen-by-screen this guide is quite lengthy, but the process itself only takes about 10 minutes start to finish — if you're not stopping to take lots of screenshots and write a tutorial along the way! This guide will show you how to activate an exploit on your Wii to allow more advanced Homebrew software to run, how to setup and format an external USB hard drive to play nice with your Wii, and how to manage the process of backing up your games and displaying them in cover-flow inspired style. When you're done your games will be load fast, be immune from scratches and mishandling, and be displayed in a way that will make

Use Dop-IOS to install and patch it for the trucha/signing bug. However this is extremely risky so install bootmii as boot2 and do a backup if possible, (should be with the HBC installer hackmii). http://bootmii.org/download/ Last edited by a moderator: Jan 5, 2010 tech3475, Jan 5, 2010 #5 143 0 0 hjvp Loyal Member Joined: Apr 4, 2005 Home Page: http:// Thanks anyway...
