The new game, mutliplayer and training mode was grayed out. After looking for both patches I got Half life to actually run however when I press escape while playing there is no menu just a black w_loadwadfile couldn't screen. As for opposing force, I install it and the menu comes up but when I try and start a game it blacks out to desktop saying "Pak0.pak is not a pak file" and exits game completely. I tried looking for a patch for Opposing force but nothing comes up that I can download. Also, installing Opposing force is a pain. It takes roughly 10-15 minutes while regular Half life is under a minute. You may also need to set up an exception in your antivirus/firewall program. It even installs quicker with no problems at all.
