Warcraft 3 No Cd Patch Blizzard
in your CD-ROM drive Discussion in 'Windows Guest OS Discussion' started by Fromethius, Feb 1, 2008. Fromethius Messages: 2 I'm trying
Warcraft 3 1.21 Patch
to get Warcraft 3 to run on Windows under Parallels, however, every time I try to run the game, I get this error: CD-ROM drive error: Please verify that your Frozen Throne disc is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGCtveOEOVs in your CD-ROM drive, then click on 'Retry'. If I try to run it under my mac, it runs just fine! I'm sure that the CD-ROM is in the drive, because my mac can run it just fine, and I'm sure that Windows under Parallels can run CD's, because when I insert the CD into the drive, under Windows in Parallels, the opening screen for the CD appears https://forum.parallels.com/threads/cd-rom-drive-error-please-verify-that-your-frozen-throne-disc-is-in-your-cd-rom-drive.19344/ asking me whether I'd like to Play Warcraft 3, View Read-me, Options, or Exit Installer, so I'm sure there is no problem reading the CD's, but when I click Play Warcraft 3, that's when the message box with the error comes up. Fromethius, Feb 1, 2008 #1 Alicia Parallels Team Messages: 693 Hello, the point is that the program that verifies if your CD is the original one has some issues with virtualization technology. In a different words, the CD-ROM sees the disk but the program can't see that it is original. Unfortunately, it is the way it works. Please, contact Blizzard support. Alicia, Feb 4, 2008 #2 Fromethius Messages: 2 Thanks for your reply! I guess I was ill-informed by the Parallels features page because it notes that you can play Warcraft 3 on it. I guess they meant that you can install it just fine but not play it? http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/features/3d/ Fromethius, Feb 4, 2008 #3 bi11 Messages: 115 Maybe they used a nocd crack to run the app with out a cd or dvd in the drive However, you can install the mac version on your system. Doesn't your install disk have the mac version? Mine does.
Wine installed. I installed under the C: directory and have gone into winecfg to set it up. every time I go into a terminal and run wine Warcraft\ III.exe -opengl I just get an no CD error, I am https://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1048334.html fully aware how to crack and run games in xp, i normally go to gamecopyworld.com and http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/17222-45-drive-error get a .exe file but this doesnt seem to work because i still get the same error. I am a Computer Science student and decided to immerse myself in linux, but would really like to have a few of my fav windows games to play when i take a break from doing C++ work in Eclipse. Thanks in advance Carlton hotweissJanuary 24th, 2009, 04:18 warcraft 3 AMYou have to download and install this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647&displaylang=en Now you you will not have the CD error anymore. k@eJanuary 24th, 2009, 11:37 AMI can run Warcraft III without having installed any runtimes. Don't use a crack. Get and apply the latest patch (1.22a), it removes the need for having a CD inserted. hotweissJanuary 24th, 2009, 07:22 PMI can run Warcraft III without having installed any runtimes. Don't use a crack. Get and apply the latest patch (1.22a), it removes the need warcraft 3 no for having a CD inserted. I got this error without using the crack also. I just backed up my Warcraft 3 onto a DVD so that I would not have to install each time, and that's what I think the OP did also. ucalDecember 3rd, 2009, 09:05 PMMaybe I'm beating a dead horse here, but I have the same error. Frozen Throne worked until I patched it to 1.24 (right after installing it), and now it gives me a No CD error. How to play without CD? Connect to battle.net to upgrade to the latest version of Warcraft 3 which doesn't need a CD. If you ever get "Please insert disc", this is NOT a problem with detecting the CD. The protection system is probably still built into the game even though the CD check itself is disabled. Make sure you use version 1.21b or later. If you get this problem after having this version installed, you are likely suffering from a buggy video driver as this is the only known (and proven possible) cause at this point. DO NOT USE NOCD PATCHES - They are pointless, and won't fix the real problem. My question is, will a NoCD patch actually let me play the game? Because as far as I'm concerned, that is the real problem. I've updated to the latest video driver for my card, with no luck. PariahVayneDecember 3rd, 2009, 11:44 PMx ucalDecember 4th, 2009, 0

I am the administrator and my son Allan is a limited user on my XPpro computer. I recently installed a game on the computer that he purchased and he would like to play it. The game is Warcraft 3 and it contains a secondary program called World Editor. Each time he tries to play the game he receives an error message as follows: CD-ROM Drive Error You need administrative rights on this PC to run Warcraft 3 (or World Editor) Please check your settings, then click on 'Retry'. I have alread tried to go to the 'Sharing and Security' and dragging the icons to the Shared Documents folder. The folder containing his files is called "Warcraft 3" and it is already located as a subfolder as follows: C:\\Documents&Settings\All Users\Documents\Warcraft 3. I can't figure this out. You might wish to repost this in the correct group (microsoft.public.windowsxp.games). How old is your son? Surely you can trust him to run the game under your user? -- My great-grandfather was born and raised in Elgin - did he eventually lose his marbles?
