The new Mac OS X 10.6.8 update is causing problems with a select range of Oki printers. If you're not using a Mac and still having this problem then let us know, as you'll be experiencing a separate issue! If you are sitting staring at a Mac nodding to yourself then don't fret, read on below for how to resolve this issue. Fixing the Oki Printer Error Message Handily there are two ways to fix this issue. The first method is how our tech guru/technology-breaker-extraordinaire got past the issue when he recreated it in-house on his Mac (bringing the whole office down with him!). The second is the official Oki announcement found on their website. Wouldn't that mess up the printer telling you when it's almost empty? Is there a way to reset everything but the toner? I replace toner on a varying rate depending on which colors I'm using most on my fliers. Does the reset affect all colors at the same time?Doesn't the drum need to be replaced when it's 0\% or is it a company scam to sell parts?
