Hi all, I'm trying to cleanup a friends computer. I've noticed there's about 185 edb.log files: eg:ebd0009.log. There's a lot of numbers after edb edb.log windows 10 before the ".log" extension Is it OK to delete them? They're in the CatRoot2 folder. jpChris, #1 2013/11/21 James Martin Geek Member Joined: 2003/05/15 Messages: 2,398 Likes Received: 73 Trophy Points: 493 Location: North Carolina Computer Experience: e-Machine mechanic What kind program did you use to find these files with? EDIT: For what it's worth, I use CCleaner to remove junk files from my XP and Windows 7 computers, and I noticed that the program removes .log files as well. I haven't had any issues with .log file removal, but I would make a restore point just in case things don't go right after removal. Last edited: 2013/11/21 J. M. Once Update is complete it is safe to delete. It is also suggested to delete that folder if Update hangs.
