As far as boot time defrag windows 10 I know, do not use on Vista or W7. Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top raphoenix Posts: 14920 This post has been reported. Others appear to be able to run the program. --- I get the Error - "Make Sure You Are An Administrator, Driver Failed to Load". Of course this machine runs in COMPLETE Administrative Mode ALL the time so don't know what or how to fix. :( :( Looks like another Clean Install coming ultradefrag up today because was not at a place to Image drive with a PERFECT installation. :( :( Thanks for reply LH. :) Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top LH Posts: 20002 This post has been reported. As I recall. It will run on Vista, but can cause big problems. So I guess the same for 7. Maybe I'll give it a try on V. Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top raphoenix Posts: 14920 This post has been reported. I've manually configured ALL Administrative Permissions and also in Group Policy the same. I can't get the file to even open except for the message above. Probably not good to run the program, but the file should still be abled to be opened without a hard error message. Sysinternals
I have been using this program for years and love it. With in the past few weeks I loaded some Windows updates including .NET Framework 4. Now after the first time of selecting PageDefrag from the start menu I get the following error "Make sure that you are an administrator. Error loading PageDefrag driver." This happens each time I select it. Restored my drive withlast disk image. Upgraded all Microsoft software patches except Microsoft IntelliPoint 8.0.225.0. That version of the software is the problem. It does trash the driver/drivers that the PageDefrag software doesuse. Don't know why, could be the Bluetooth. But I am staying with theIntelliPoint version 7.10.344.0 for now.
