Also On this laptop there is only the 1 Accessible USB 2.0 Port and that is the one my mouse is always plugged into, my mouse always works no problems and plugging / unpluging from this does not cause any thing to go wrong. 0 Jalapeno OP JStinsman Jun 6, 2014 at 10:32 UTC If anyone care here are my dumpfiles. ================================================== Dump File : 060614-15865-01.dmp Crash Time : 2014-06-06 3:50:21 PM Bug Check String : BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER Bug Check Code : 0x000000fe Parameter 1 : 00000000`00000006 Parameter 2 : fffffa80`302d75e0 Parameter 3 : 00000000`48766544 Parameter 4 : 00000000`00000000 Caused By Driver : USBPORT.SYS Caused By Address : USBPORT.SYS+2d311 File Description : USB 1.1 & 2.0 Port Driver Product Name : Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Company : Microsoft Corporation File Version : 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255) Processor : x64 Crash Address : ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0 Stack Address 1 : Stack Address 2 : Stack Address 3 : Computer Name : Full Path : C:\Windows\Minidump\060614-15865-01.dmp Processors Count : 4

I am attaching the minidump files of the last few crashes and have 25-30 more if you need them. It started 3-4 weeks ago and would get a BSOD randomly every day or two and they became more and more frequent. I am stationed overseas and am using a USB modem to access the internet and thought this was the problem as it seemed to not happen when it was not plugged in but then it BSOD when It was not in use and the bsod mentioned usbport.sys and i had a logitech mouse installed. I removed the mouse and plugged in a mouse from another computer a microsoft sidewinder. Got BSOD's with both of them so removed all USb devices. Would still get BSOD using nothing except the touchpad now but still getting BSOD with out a USB device of any kind installed and the error message is now talking about kernals instead of USBport.sys Have tried everything microsoft has told me to no avail. Running Vista 64 bit sp2 which i updated to recently in an attempt to fix what i thought was a seperate problem but may be relayed. I have microsoft intellipoint 6.1 installed and unable to use all the extra features of my sidewinder mouse and am unable to update to the correct intellipoint 7.0. I am getting a 1603 install error. I am unable to uninstall the intellipoint 6.1 I will be checking this message frequently if any further information is required i will post asap thank you everybody for your assistance !!!
