Mailboxes have been moved, public folders replicated, etc. Now I've moved on to completing cutover of https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/3825741a-4616-4da6-a0ac-add29dc3a65a/active-sync-error-0x85010004-and-0x85010014?forum=exchangesvrmobilitylegacy our WM5 devices. A little backgroud first... in 2003 we were running FE/BE setup, with OWA and exch activesync pointing to the front-end, and all mailboxes located on the back-end. Also, both 2003 servers are running SP2, and have had no problems with direct push email using SSL (self-signed). Now I have moved all of our mailboxes to the 2007 box, which in all other aspects is working great. http://forums.msexchange.org/ActiveSync_0x85010004_Error/m_1800435566/tm.htm But now if I point my device (only testing mine at this point) to the new server (after installing the new cert on my phone) I get: "Your account in Microsoft Exchange Server does not have permission to synchronize with your current settings. Contact your Exchange Server administrator. Support code: 0x85010004" Fortunately, my 2003 FE server is still allowing all of my users to sync their devices as the FQDN and cert on their phonesare still valid. I've checked the settings in EMC and the mailboxes are enabled for Exchange Activesync. I've even run the script to enable it again (successfully) in EMS. I know 2003 had some funny configs for virtual directory security, etc. to get EA working in some enviornments; is that the case again in 2007? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! But I've seen similar issues with migrated users, where the solution was to delete the partnership using the EMC. Does a partnership show up for your device? _____________________________HTH Henrik Walther Lead Moderator/author MSExch

I can't remember about the 6700. But is anything else necessary on the Q? We can place calls and surf the web OK. Also when we entered a users password wrong it prompted us for the password again, so it's talking to the server, it just will not sync. Thanks in advance for any ideas.-Bob I have this question too 0 Kudos Reply Geoffrey_F Bit Torrent Posts: 4,795 Registered: 06-05-2006 Location: United States Message 1 of 8 (47 Views) Re: exchange error 0x85010004 Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content 07-19-2006 10:33 PM Try active synch 4.2, it's release notes specially address that error code. For details click on this link.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7269173a-28bf-4cac-a682 0 Kudos Rep

Background, We have implemented single exchange server, has Thawte SSL Server Certificate installed. Did all the single server work arounds that are required to get SSL working on a single server. AS outlined in many MS QB's. WE have rechecked all of this. From outside we can connect to OWA using https://outlook.mydomain.com. I think we made one mistake with Exchnge active synce and OMA and that is to make it easier for our web users we put in the recommended host header at the defualt website that redirects users to the /exchange directory so they don't have to put that in their URL. What MS says is a Exchange virtual server redirect. When we made that change in IIS manager at the default website, we went into home directory and selected the Option A redirect URL. Checked Direct below URL Checked A permenant redirect. When we applied a box for Inhertitance overides came up and it listed a ton of CHILD Object websites and virtual directories and want to know which to
