my laptop (currently using my other pc) until tonight. I clicked on a folder in explorer and Ireceivedthe message that explorer has crashed.. then I get another one http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-update/experiencing-the-infamous-explorerexe-restart-loop/5a1e81cc-6360-4bbe-a407-b9451842d2f9 that says it's restarting and it gets stuck in this continuous loop. I can't do anything as this loop never stops. I read a lot of posts and tried various things. The things I tried: rebooted into safe mode to see if the problem persisted.. everything worked fine. created another profile to see if it https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/48db0b23-7373-4227-b82e-a8a604a08e18/explorerexe-is-crashing-in-a-continuous-loop-?forum=w7itproperf was affecting everything, my guest profile loaded up fine. I clicked in explorer, got the error msg once and that seemed to be it. (I didn't bother to keep clicking around to see if it would do what it's doing on my other profile. I ran msconfig and disabled all non-microsoft services.. that didn't work. I also ran from safe mode sfc /scannow ... but nothing showed up/was wrong. I'm not sure what else to try or where to go from here. I'm not too computer savy when it comes to repairing issues so any help is greatly appreciated as I feel at this point I'm about to pull out my hair.
