Grab your specs in the Steam library window up at the top, the Help tab allows you to find your System Specs. Has the game ever worked for you before? Did you install any other software, change fear 1 windows 10 or update any drivers? Can your rig actually run the game? Even though it's old, Fear 1 is a very, very advanced graphics game. Right-click the game icon in the library, choose Properties, Files, and then verify them. restart steam. You might also want to try running the game in XP compatible mode or as admin. W7 seems to be a little persnickety about games. Also, what specific error is it, or does

The DLC runs fine, but http://steamcommunity.com/app/21090/discussions/0/828925849351754391/ the actual game does not. I have tried reinstalling, verifying game cache, disabling community connectivity, etc. Every time I have tried a suggested solution, it does not work. Anyone have an idea on how to solve this problem? < > Showing 1-12 of 12 comments 「C❤A」 Pocahawtness View Profile View Posts 30 Dec, 2012 @ 3:07am Could you state what the problem is in more detail. Also what PC hardware you have. #1 traywick View Profile View Posts 30 Dec, 2012 @ 10:16am Whenever I try to run F.E.A.R, the screen goes black for a second, then it flashes up a message saying FEAR has stopped working and needs to close. Right before the screen goes black it says that the Windows color scheme has been chnged to basic to fit a running program. Hardware: Processor : Intel Core i3 540 CPU 3.07GHz Video Card : nVidia Geforce GTX 670 4GB RamAny other hardware I need to list? I reasonably know my way around a computer but do not have any specialized knowledge of what may help in diagnosing the problem. #2 simbabluenobi View Pro

I had a p4 3.2 ghz with a intel board. I was tired of intel so i switched to amd. I just got my pc up an running with amd setup and after i installed F.E.A.R. and start to play single player i get like 5-10 min into the game and my computer restarts, or the game frezes and closes out of the game. I have the 1.0 Retail patch because my internet is to slow to update the game. I am on satellite internet . All of my specs hard drive video card everything is the same since i switched to AMD. Will updating the game solve this problem or is there another reason this is happening. 0 Advertisements #2 bmwboy Posted 19 September 2006 - 07:14 PM bmwboy Member Member 152 posts Let's make sure you have the latest drivers, head over to ATi and download the correct video drivers. If this doesn't help your problem, try downloading The AMD Dual-Core Optimizer and lastly, updating your game to the latest patches/fixes!Have a nice day!Brandon 0 Back to Games · Next Unread Topic → Similar Topics 1 user(s) are readi
