I can't sync W10 mail app to my gmail account. Should I disable AVG prior to trying to sync the two together? Unfortunately disabling AVG will not generally work. You need to uninstall it from Control Panel / Programs and Features and then you need to Go here http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities to obtain the vendor specific proprietary removal tool and run that. Then reboot your computer and see if your mail syncs. Seems like a lot of work but I guess you need to start someplace. Gmail was working fine at first but now it won't sync at all. I get the same 0x8007274d error code. Heinz, May 28, 2016 #5 1thriftychick Joined: Aug 27, 2016 Messages: 1 Likes Received: 0 Me too!! The firewall server is connected to public network and acts as a firewall. The VPN access on this firewall is not enabled. I’ve enabled NATing for external VPN IP to an internal private IP via server publishing rules at the firewall for PPTP protocol. The VPN server is connected to internal network with VPN access enabled. The firewall just acts as a gateway and the PPTP traffic will be redirected to the internal ISA 2004 VPN server which has all the necessary access rules configured. The setup works fine until the today when I found out that I couldn’t connect to the VPN server. The error message when I try to VPN in on the client side is Error 800. Monitoring on the firewall, I found out I kept getting “Failed Connection Attempt” with result code “0x8007274d”. I found out this means connection refused. I am able to see that the ISA is listening to port 1723 on my external ip via netstat –anp tcp command. Telent to the ext ip with port 1723 will give me black screen and then it goes back to C:\ prompt. Any help is appreciated. TQ very much.
