Iastor.sys Driver Windows 10
0xc0000359 error with x64 operating systems using MDT 2008 Up1 and iastor.sys 0x0000007e MDT 2010 RC Windows Vista IT Pro > Windows Vista Deployment and Imaging Question 0 Sign in iastor.sys driver update to vote First, I should inform everyone that my LiteTouchPE_x64 images (wim and iso) are booting up fine and I only see the Task Sequences that have a x64 OS platform https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/setup-cannot-copy-file-iastor-sys-help-133375/ designation so atleast the WinPE part is working. The iastor.sys 0xc0000359 error occurs during the first reboot after receiving/appling the os image. All of my x86 images are working fine including both Vista and Windows 7. Currently, the only driver I allow to be injected is the iastor/ahci driver just to make sure nothing else is getting in https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/bc692c68-5a67-457d-b86a-4eeadaa6c299/iastorsys-0xc0000359-error-with-x64-operating-systems-using-mdt-2008-up1-and-mdt-2010-rc?forum=itprovistadeployment the way. Looking through the logs, the only driver that gets injected is the ahci driver since that is the only PnP hardware id the enumerator finds. What bothers me is the PnP enumerator never finds the PnP id for the iastor hardware so obviously it's not going to install it which is a little confusing. Here is the list of PnP id's that are in the iastor.inf which atleast one of them has to be found by the enumerator in order for the driver to be installed. Any ideas out there? Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Hello everyone, I'm having a very frustrating issue trying to deploy Windows 7 via MDT to a Lenovo M93p. Every time I deploy it goes smoothly until the installed OS goes to boot, at which it gives me the error 0x0000098 regarding iaStorA.sys (aka Missing or Corrupted). I have tried windows 10 downloading and installing the iaStorA.sys driver from Intel and Lenovo into MDT to no avail. I can't find much information on iaStorA.sys except that its an Intel storage driver. If there are any logs I can provide to help troubleshoot, I can attach them. Thanks. Do you have a pic of the error? I wonder what your sata controller in the bios is set to. AHCI or RAID? The logs below would help along with the setupact.log and setuperr.log 0 Jalapeno OP Peridot Oct 21, 2015 at 4:34 UTC michaeldouglas wrote: That file would need to be located in the WinPE boot wim and in the available list of drivers for Windows 7. Do you have a pic of the error? I wonder what your sata controller in the bios is set to. AHCI or RAID?This computer is set to AHCI. These are factory computers, so I would hope that they're all set properly. It should also be an available driver, as well as be integrated into the WinPE boot WIM. However, this error is occurring AFTER deployment and after Win PE has done its thing. 0 Datil OP Jago Wu Oct 21, 2015 at 4:43 UTC Since the controller is AHCI and the drive is Sata I would think this would be supported natively. Can you remove that file from the boot.wim and deployment and test? Or is this the file that came from the Win7 DVD? Also what version MDT are you using and ADK? My guess is your missing the driver.
