Affected configurations The system is either of the following IBM Netfinity servers: a Netfinity 7600 server, irql not less or equal type 8665, any model. a Netfinity 7100 server, type 8666, any model. The system has the described symptom. Solution Apply the latest BIOS update. It is contained in "IBM Netfinity 7100, 7600 - Flash BIOS Update Diskette Version 1.00" or later. The executable BIOS file and it accompanying text file are available for download by clicking on this link. Workaround The system must be reset by pressing the Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys simultaneously.
