I was finally able to start it in "Safe Mode" by holding down the Shift and Control keys while launching iTunes. I was then asked by Windows10 if I wanted to allow that program to make changes to my computer and I responded "Yes". iTunes finally launched and I was able to connect to the iTunes store and sync my phone. I haven't tried to rip a CD yet, but that's next up on my list. The weird thing is that in Safe Mode I don't think it's supposed to connect to devices or to the internet to get to the iTunes store, but all of that worked just fine. It's an inconvenience until a fix is found, but ctrl+shift+launch is working for now. HRESULT: 0x80073715". After throwing this error it rolls back, but it doesn't cancel the installation, it keeps installing and then throws another error "Service 'Apple Mobile Device Service' (Apple Mobile Device Service) on windows 10 failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." And than I have to cancel the installation and it rolls back. Strangely, if I take a look at my programs list, I see that it managed to install "Apple Software Update", "Bonjour" and another compatibility app. I tried removing these apps and starting a fresh install, but the same thing happened over and over again. I searched for a few solutions online but couldn't find anything helpful. Any ideas?
