Shadart Level 1 (0 points) Q: iTunes error on startup I have used iTunes for a long time without having any major itunes crashing windows 7 problems, but just a couple days ago iTunes decided to start giving me an itunes freezes error message on start-up. I open iTunes, the program comes up, and while it is "Accessing the iTunes Store," an itunes won't open windows 10 error message comes up and it says: "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling iTunes, closing Quicktime before I open iTunes, and deleting the itunes won't open windows 7 "com.apple.iTunes.plist" preference file, but none of these have proven to be successful for me.Any help would be appreciated. damaged, that would make sense of the crash immediately after the Store starts to load. It's an Apple Application Support program file. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different iTunes applications are kept. webkit.dll is also the Safari web browser rendering engine, so it goes in Apple Application Support rather than in the iTunes or Safari program files.)Let's try something relatively simple first.Restart the PC. Now go into your Add or Remove programs control panel. Select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".Restart the PC again, and now try launching iTunes again. Do you still get the error, or does it stay launched this time?
