I have had my computer https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2028504 randomly restart on me 6 times this last month and I am trying to narrow down the cause (driver, hardware, electrical, ect.) The only thing I am seeing in Event Viewer is "Level = Critical, Source = Kernel-Power, Event ID = 41, Task Category = 63" The first 4 times it happened it showed bug check http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/46250-63-random-restarts-critical-kernel-power-event-task 0, like this: BugcheckCode 0 BugcheckParameter1 0x0 BugcheckParameter2 0x0 BugcheckParameter3 0x0 BugcheckParameter4 0x0 SleepInProgress false PowerButtonTimestamp 0 The last 2 times have been different though, they have shown this: BugcheckCode 59 BugcheckParameter1 0xc0000005 BugcheckParameter2 0xfffff880071c23d0 BugcheckParameter3 0xfffff8800a9f9790 BugcheckParameter4 0x0 SleepInProgress false PowerButtonTimestamp 0 and also this: BugcheckCode 26 BugcheckParameter1 0x41790 BugcheckParameter2 0xfffffa8000b9d480 BugcheckParameter3 0xffff BugcheckParameter4 0x0 SleepInProgress false PowerButtonTimestamp 0 This last time I also got a BSOD, which I wasn't getting before (the computer would just restart without a BSOD) Any ideas?
