The computer on which it was installed recently crapped out on me. It had windows Vista, I think. I just bought a "new" (used) laptop that had a fresh installation of windows XP. I can access the files on windows 10 the hard drive from the old computer if necessary, so that's good, but I need to get Special Forces installed on the new computer. The new one doesn't have a CD drive so I had to do some gymnastics with the installation disc; making an ISO file from the CD on another computer and e-mailing it to myself, then mounting the disk image. At first it seemed like the installation wizard worked visual studio .net OK. There are shortcuts on my desktop now, but clicking the Multiloader shortcut on the desktop brings an "error 126" message-- "Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version File 'MFC71.DLL'." Some scrounging on the board here suggested to me that I needed to copy one or more drivers from "C:\Program Files\Sniper Performance\Drivers" to "C:\Program Files\Sniper Performance". But when I looked in "C:\Program Files," I found no "Sniper Performance" folder at all. There is a "Delta Force Tuning" folder which contains the Recon, Bullet, Multiloader and Special Forces applications for which there are now shortcuts on the desktop, but nothing else. Because I don't know what else happens when the software is installed, I don't know if anything else might be missing. Can I copy-and-paste something from the CD to solve my problem? What might have happened? And while I'm at it, would the Delta Force software still work if I upgrade from Windows XP to 7 or 8?Thank you so much Top Sniper Chris General of the Army Posts: 473 Joined: Fri Jul 20, 2007 3:54 pm Location: Sanford, FL Contact: Contact Sniper Chris Website Yahoo Messenger Re: Problems installing software; missing folders Quote Postby Sniper Chris » Fri May 22, 2015 11:05 am Try these steps...Make
