I have installed and reinstalled Rome a few times, but that hasn't solved the problem. When I update to miles error mss patch 1.3 the issue stated above occurs. I have tried 2 registry cleaners, and I have replaced the file (which was missing already). I already had the game working, with both patches (1.3 and 1.5). I installed a mod, SPQR mod I think, but it didn't work. I uninstalled it, and then Rome didn't work, so I uninstalled that too. This is when my problem began. I can play the sp campaign totally fine. I have searched and searched for a solution, but still havn't found one. Oh yes, I used a program to fix missing mss dll files, and after using that the error message turned to: "The MSS DLL file is installed in the Windows or Windows system directory - it must be installed in the application directory". Any help will much much appreciated, I will +rep you Last edited by Tough Puppy; April 03, 2011 at 05:23 PM.
