in Graphics Cards Share TheSanto321 4 August 2013 01:11:35 I'll start off by listing my pc specs: Case: NZXT M59 Motherboard: ASUS P7H55-M CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @2.8GHz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UI2QF4sh70 GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 650 SC 1GB Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2133MHz PSU: Thermaltake TR2 700W HD: WD Black 1TB I recently upgraded my pc with these (motherboard wasn't changed) to be able to play Steam games such as Chivalry Medieval Warfare and Warframe. Although, when I start up these games, I'm only able to http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1755834/nvidia-display-driver-stopped-responding-recovered-error.html run them for a good 5 minutes or less before I'm brought back to my desktop with the "Display driver has stopped responding but has recovered" error, or forced to restart my pc because there is no display. This problem has been going on for months and has been a real headache; I updated my drivers to the latest version (yes, a full clean installation of them) and even tried disabling TdrDelay in the Registry Editor. So if there is anyone who can suggest a possible solution to this issue, it would be much appreciated! I'm guessing gpu because an inefficient/or bad psu would often cause a reboot/shutdown. But to rule out either if you can borrow from a friend to try with would be cheaper
to Fix "NVIDIA Installer Failed" for GeForce video cardsSo a long time ago, about couple days back, I came across that fantastic log box over after the NVIDIA setup failed to install the drivers on several different high-end systems that I was working on; for no apparent reason. http://www.custompcguide.net/2-methods-to-fix-nvidia-installer-failed-issue-for-geforce-video-cards/ Then, like a true leader of the Dothraki -I relaxed, stretched my fingers and hamstrings then fire up the setup.exe again.Immediately I came to the same message that read "NVIDIA Installer failed" again -and http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/windows-10-how-fix-nvidia-driver-issues-after-upgrade-1513643 none of the driver components were installed. See, that totally sucks because if I ever wanted a random generic video card, I'd just use the integrated GPU and call it a great life; rather than windows 10 burning through a few $300's for these GTX's. In a short moment, I was pretty sure that this is karma bitching at me for not letting that guy merge into my lane two days ago. 5 Biggest, Most Affordable 26800+ mAh Power Banks for Pokemon GoHowever, I quickly recomposed myself and the troubleshooting took places along with many of hours of frustration -where it should have been remedied by NVIDIA nvidia installer cannot or Microsoft themselves in the first place. But who knows, marriage is complicated. Anyway, several searches from Google and Bing return similar problem everywhere. It does not matter if it's a GTX 460, GTX 570 or the new GTX 980, etc.. the damn installer just won't install (I think it's possessed). On the other hand, Windows, being a difficult teenager, wouldn't even bother to give a second try at the very certified driver that it directly obtained from Windows Update itself. Cute.Good news is I got a potential solution for that problem --hopefully before you do the exact opposite of Hodor.

Windows 8? Get 8.1. Windows 10? ..Shit. Well, check anyway. We all know that this is a complicated relationship between NVIDIA and Windows and all but unfortunately you and I are caught up in the crossfire -which should have been a problem of AMD since they came up with the term Crossfire in the first place.
