Nvraid Event 11 Windows 10
630i Computer Windows 10 IT Pro > Windows 10 Application Compatibility Question nvraid windows 10 1 Sign in to vote I recently upgraded (the free MS upgrade) from MS Windows 7 Pro to display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. Windows 10 Pro. Unfortunately, I have been having nothing but problems with the main one being the two work monitors going into "entering power save mode" every so often due to the system freezing. I regret that I "upgraded" to windows 10, as I never-never-never had such issues. but before I go back to Windows 7 pro, I want to give it a last chance. I have spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is going on and I managed to reduce the frequency of the monitor shutdown and system freezes. I disabled quite a few services, I bought a second graphics card to eliminate graphic card issues, I went to safe mode and determined that the monitors do not shut down (and the system does not freeze while in safe mode), and so on. Now the system will freeze occasionally and I am getting the Event 11 NVRAID error about 5 times upon booting. I do not have an NVRAID system in my DELL XPS 630i computer, but I used to have when I bought it in 2008. I tried to uninstall the RAID drivers shown in the device manager, but windows re-installs them every time. So, it doesn work for me. Here is the error: The description for Event ID 11 from source nvraid cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information w
beyond words. I am a PC gamer, and I cannot run my games for more than 10-15 minutes before the entire system freezes up and I have to hold down the power button to get it to turn off. When I checked the event viewer, it said the cause was nvraid and that the Event ID was 11. I looked this up and found similar results, but most were irrelevant as they were from several years ago. This did not happen with Windows 8, and the same https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/5f1711cc-b496-4cdc-aad8-3956dca65d8b/error-eventid-11-source-nvraid-in-a-nonraid-dell-xps-630i-computer?forum=win10itproapps goes for Windows 8.1. If I could be given an explanation to why this is happening and a possible solution, I would be eternally grateful. August 16th, 2015 5:37pm Hi, According to your description, this should be Graphic Card driver problem, you can access its official website to check and download the latest driver for test. On the other hand, please check Windows update to make sure it was upgrade to be latest. If problem persists, feel free let us know. Event ID 11 seems to indicate there is an disk error or other problem with the RAID array. User should check RAID software from Windows or boot into RAID BIOS to determine if the array is healthy. August 17th, 2015 4:36pm @Tripredacus: RAID BIOS stated that raid was healthy. @Roger Lu: My graphics card driver is perfectly up to date, along with Windows. A few days ago I took apart two computers with pieces that were better from each side and fused them into one. Since then I've had a few problems but have managed to "fix" all of them except for one. Whenever I launch a game my pc shuts down without any warning or BSOD. When I boot it back up and check the event log I get 5 event 11 nvraid errors. I'm not completely sure what is happening or how to fix this, and if anyone could help I would appreciate it. My specs are: Windows 8.1 Pro AMD Phenom x4 9650 M2N78-LA Pegatron Nvidia GeForce GTX 560ti 700W PS(If anyone thinks it matters I can check the name and brand) SanDisk 256GB SSD Since I think it may be relevant, the previous problem I had was with my 750GB HDD (Not sure of the name or brand but I can check). Basically sometimes when I would try to access data from that HDD it would crash and reboot causing my computer to slow down immensely. So to solve that I just unplugged it. That's pretty much it at the moment, if I can think of anything else or if I need to find anything please ask and thanks in advance. Edit: The RAID setup is mirror, which is RAID1 I think? Would turning off nvraid in the bios help or would it just destroy my computer since it used to be setup that way? Edit 2: I checked the RAID array and it is mirrored, but the SSD is in the free disks category.
