Also states "This could happen if PeerGuardian crashed and didn't have a chance to unload the driver, or if https://sourceforge.net/p/peerguardian/bugs/290/ the file pgfilter.sys can't be found. Discussion sjk - 2009-01-21 I've the identical error as reported above. PG did not run. OS Vista Ultimate 64-bit w/ SP 1 Windows firewall Avast antivirus Successfully ran the command line as this release required per the installation notes (shown below). PG never started until command completed and machine was restarted. # Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right click Command Prompt -> Run as administrator. # Copy the following exactly (without quotes): "bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS". Right click on the title bar, go to Edit -> Paste. Make sure what was pasted is correct, then hit enter to execute the command. # Reboot the machine # Now the first time you load PeerGuardian you will see a message like the below. I did not go so far as to delete and reload the application multiple times. I did it once and then checked this formum. One thing to not, I tried to add other lists and still the same problem.
