name.Apart from these errors appearing in my Event Viewer, I didn't notice anything strange with my computer; Everything was working like it should, so I had no idea what this could be causing and what (according to Windows) wasn't working like it should. After a quick Google search, I found out that the error perflib error 1008 windows 10 itself isn't a big deal; It's just saying it can't collect performance data. That was the easy part. Getting red of the errors is a whole different story. These errors got me technically stumped, as I've tried virtually every solution you can find on the web to no avail:- I ran a virus scan as well as a malware scan, without success. - I ran a chkdsk, without success. - I ran sfc /scannow, without success. - I ran lodctr /r, without success. - I ran Microsoft's SystemFileChecker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files, without success. - I removed and reinstalled the BITS, ESENT, LSA and MSDTC service without success. This was driving me nuts. Since the error itself wasn't really a big deal, I decided to disable the performance counters for the services that Windows was unable to collect performance data for. This can be achieved by using Extensible Counter List which can be downloaded here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/win2000platform/exctrlst/1.00.0.1/nt5/en-us/exctrlst_setup.exe After downloading and install
on November 27, 2013 by Maik van der Gaag When I was setting up a new SharePoint environment this week I was getting very annoyed about perflib error messages within the event log: “The Open event id 1008 perflib windows 10 Procedure for service "WmiApRpl" in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\wbem\wmiaprpl.dll" failed. Performance data for this service perflib error windows 10 will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.” Looking on TechNet bitsperf.dll error I found the below article for fixing the problem. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc774913(v=ws.10).aspx Taking these steps made no change. After that I was getting more annoyed and called a colleague for advice. He pointed to me http://freek.ws/2015/05/16/how-to-fix-perflib-error-1008/ that another colleague had already blogged about this a few months ago. only takes a few minutes. Join Now On a Windows 2000 Server I have recently been seeing about two of these events per second in my Applications Event Log. Obviously, this makes it rather difficult to https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/83712-rediculous-amount-of-perflib-event-1008-errors-in-event-log track any other errors that might appear. The Event is: Source: Perflib Category: None Type: Error Event ID: 1008 User: N/A Description: The Open Procedure for service "ASP.NET_2.0.50727" in DLL "C|WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_perf.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be http://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/missing-not-found-error/dll/windows/nusphere-corporation/mysql/perflib-dll/ available. Status code returned is data DWORD 0. Data: (Bytes) 0000: c7 04 07 80 (and a few ASCII characters) (Words) 0000: 800704c7 After researching several leads on TechNet, and other sites, I installed .NET 1.0 sp3, as this windows 10 problem was supposedly resolved with the release of sp3. All this did was add a new version of the above event referencing "ASP.NET_1.0.3705.6060", which essentially doubled the number of these events I am receiving. Gee thanks Microsoft. Other things I read indicate that there may be some relationship with this error and NetBEUI not being installed on the NIC. NetBEUI is installed. However, one thing that recently changed on this server was the addition of a Gigabit 1008 windows 10 NIC. This server hosts DC, DHCP, and Exhcange. I disabled the new NIC and set things back to the way they were, and the problem persisted. Next, I disabled the original NIC and assigned the static IP to the new NIC, installed NetBEUI, verified the selection to register in DNS, and verifyied the Metric is set to 1 for this device. This has made no difference regarding this Error. If any of you folks have fought this battle with any success I would very much appreciate being tossed a bone here. :-) This server will be replaced in 2010 and I really would like to keep it running until then if at all possible, what with it being a rather critical part of our network and all. PerfLib.dll is a type of DLL file associated with MySQL developed by NuSphere Corporation for the Windows Operating System. The latest known version of PerfLib.dll is 1.0.0.0, which was produced for Windows 2000 2000. This DLL file carries a popularity rating of 1 stars and a security rating of "UNKNOWN". What Are DLL Files? DLL ("dynamic link library") files such as PerfLib.dll are small programs, similar to EXE ("executable") files, which allow multiple software programs to share the same functionality (eg. printing). For example, let's say you are running Windows 2000 2000 and editing a document in Microsoft Word. The DLL file that controls printing does not need to load unless it's function is needed - eg. you decide to print your document. When you select "Print", Microsoft Word calls the printer DLL file, and it is loaded into memory (RAM) at that time. If you want to print a document in another program, Adobe Acrobat for example, that same printer DLL file will be used as well. Why Do I Have DLL Errors? Because they are shared files, DLL files exist outside of the software application itself. Although this provides many benefits for software developers, this separation also provides an opportunity for problems to occur.Quite simply, if Windows cannot properly load your PerfLib.dll file, you will encounter an error message. Please see "Causes of PerfLib.dll Errors" below for more information. When Do DLL Errors Occur? DLL errors, such as those associated with Pe
