However, after some use my PC started to slow down until its was impossible to use, it was due to high memory usage. After restart, everything came back to windows 10 ram requirements normal, total usage around 25% of 8GB of RAM. However, during few hours of usage memory builds up again to 70% and if not restarted it further goes to 100% and later on even freezes. Task manager does not help very much as it does not show all the processes (added screenshots below). Also tried RAMMap but it gives an error "error refreshing database". Tried googling this question, yet without much of a success. I do not know much about PC, but maybe some of you know this issue, or could help to find out what is using my RAMs :D windows memory performance troubleshooting windows-10 share|improve this question edited Aug 2 '15 at 6:24 magicandre1981 55.5k1378115 asked Aug 2 '15 at 6:16 Lukas 183134 @AR provide a xperf trace. Look at the high value of nonpaged kernel memory. In your case this is over 3.7 GB. You can use pool

Hi Trainzers, I realise this may be a bit off-topic, but it may be of interest to those who are encountering memory usage issues with Windows http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?122004-Interesting-suspected-memory-leak-issue-with-Windows-10-and-ntoskrnl 10. In some instances, the System process (ntoskrnl.exe) uses a lot of memory (at one point on mine it was over 500MB, but looking at other sites about the issue some have had it as high as 2.1GB). This can be checked using Task Manager. This appears to be an issue with the way the process operates, but I have managed to reduce mine down to just under 400MB by turning off the Windows Tips feature (Settings > System > Notifications and Actions > Show me tips about Windows). Note that this is not a full solution (it's more of a workaround) as it looks like there is a memory leak in the ntoskrnl process. It also appears that the latest update does not fix the issue. Hopefully this will be of use to other users who have Windows 10, as it may cause T:ANE and older Trainz versions to potentially run out of memory.
