because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected. The maximum file size for session "ReadyBoot" has been reached. As a result, events might be lost (not logged) to file "C:\Windows\Prefetch\ReadyBoot\ReadyBoot.etl". The maximum files size is currently set to 20971520 bytes. Session "ReadyBoot" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188 On Asus connect I changed this service to delayed start I believe it is for my motherboard updates. Superfetch is disabled. My page file is not on my SSD drive but on my regular sata drives configured in RAID 5. It doesn't do this everytime I reboot just seems like it happens after my computer has been on for a while and I turn it off for a few hours and turn it back on to log into windows (put in my password it says welcome) and it takes several minutes to log in. Tried to do a little research on this but I am turning up 50/50 stuff on rather or not readyboost/superfetch should be on or off and I guess this is what is causing it.... maybe I dont know for sure. Looking for proper information.

View Forum Posts Be nice to all, please?! Trnava Posts : 683 Win 8.1.1 Pro x64 How to disable ReadyBoot? I have this error: Session "ReadyBoot" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188 Startup Event Trace Session I have tried http://www.eightforums.com/performance-maintenance/59364-how-disable-readyboot.html to Disable And Delete it from startup, but it just keeps reappearing, any ideas? I have http://www.windows10forums.com/threads/windows-10-device-manager-problem.7893/ tried to restrict access to ReadyBoot.etl, which resulted in reinstall, since I was unable to boot. So I am unwilling to try to set it to 0 and I would prefer to disable it, rather then to increase its size. Side story: I have had recently had daily BSOD Kernel-Power related, (probably fixed by disabling Windows Driver Foundation), but I also windows 10 suspect, that when ReadyBoot tried to write to a log file and failed, it tried to write to a pagefile, which is disabled, which might have caused BSOD. 0 My windows 10 randomly refresh device manager and that hardware change sound makes me crazy. it gaves me errors like this Metadata staging failed, result=0x80070490 for container '{8939892F-E1F8-11E5-9BD6-20CF30D6F7BB}' Session "ReadyBoot" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188 Blagoi, Mar 6, 2016 #1 Advertisements Regedit32 Moderator Joined: Mar 4, 2016 Messages: 1,214 Likes Received: 206 Hello Blagoi, Re the Metadata staging failed error. Typically this occurs when the Network List Service attempts to access Internet before your router has booted. To resolve this issue you can delay the start of the service by doing the following: Press WinKey + R to open Run dialog Type services.msc then press Enter or click OK In the window that opens scroll down and double click 'Network List Service' In the window that opens click the drop arrow next to Startup type and select Automatic (Delayed Start) Click Apply and close out the Services dialog pane Re the ReadyBoot stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188. On booting up the boot files are cached and a file named readyboot.etl is created. This cache will auto re-create each time you boot your PC. Windows 10 default setting for memory space for this process is 20MB. The error you are getting hints that the 20MB is not large enough for the cache file to be created. You could confirm that by taking a look at the Windows Event Error logs if you prefer. If indeed this is the problem them the simple solution is to increase the Memory Space allocated for this process. To do that do the following: Press WinKey + R to open your Run dialog Type perfmon.msc then press Enter Key or click OK In the Performance Monitor window that opens in the Left Pane expand 'Data Collector Sets' Next in the Left Pane click on 'Startup Event Trace Sessions' Now in the Right Pane - double click 'ReadyBoot' Click on the Stop Condition tab Click the Arrow to increase the Maximum Size. Do not exceed 256MB !! Click APPLY and close Performance Monitor Happy computing.
