Put other hard drive back in (driver may be corrupt or missing) Drive not detected/doesnt work Uninstall and reinstall does not help I have a lot of information on the one hard drive and i dont want to loose it all reloading windows to fix this problem Any ideas? thanks Edited by kentuckynet, 06 January 2013 - 01:48 PM. My solution was shift f10 command prompt and typing d: enter, e: enter, f: enter until i got to the file asms on windows xp professional cd rom is needed U. Apparently on my netbook, U was the drive for the usb. Went to the location popup and typed u:\i386 and bam.
