I bought my 360 yesterday and everything was well until I tried to start it up before. Now I get a System error E67 with one red light, however it works fine if I remove the HD, but when I try with the HD inserted it doesn't work. Is there anything I can do or do I need to get a new HD? Please help! You'll probably need a new Hard Drive. Bring it back to the shop you bought it in and they'll exchange it.I had to exchange mine 4 times on the day I bought it. and most importantly the Hdd! Now it started up ok, displaying the 360 splash screen and then!!!!! Black screen! Flashing red Light on Console! and E67 Code on screen??? Hmmmm? I could not believe it, http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/24801/t839901-system-error-e67-please-help/ after all the shit i've been reading about - crashing, overheating etc.. Now at this stage I didn't panic - as I have a proven IT background, especially with hardware! So I powered it down, turned it on again - same F*%king thing again! (Now I had my window open, and I was about to Three Sixty the little f*%ker out of it!) Then I had thought? I disconnected the hdd, http://www.eurogamer.net/forum/thread/45534 and started again... This time around it managed to get all the way!!! Ta Da! So then it asked me to put the memory storage device on, powered down, snapped on the hdd, powered up again, no probs! At this stage I was very happy, until? Fired up PGR3 played on Live, won my first race!! Wow! I have to save the replay, the C*%t could't find any storage device??? Anyway cutting a long story short I had to format the disk to cure this problem! hence losing any free MS content on the drive. Has anyone else had the same or a similar error code or fault???
