Has anyone figured out how to delete an engine code for code #18 « on: August 08, 2012, 01:46:32 PM » Hey everyone, Ive got an issure and its really starting to piss me off. If anyone can help me with this or has had this problem solved in the past PLEASE tell me how to fix it.I have a 2007 yamaha r6 r1 with slip ons, y pipe and a power commander I got my bike a while ago and it rides great, but not its showing error code #18 and the check engine light is on.... Basically code 18 states your EXUP motor is stuck. I do have slip ons and a y pipe, but the EXUP unit is still there and functional(supposedly)Anyways I went to yamaha and got the instructions to delete the code 1-go into diagnostic mode2- select code 62, 3- to erase yamaha r6 2007 history set the engine stop switch from off to on....Ive done that literally ten fucking times and it wont go off. Im getting irritated- especially because im not even sure the EXUP problem is fixed. I just simply want to know how to wipe the code. Thanks anyone who can help Logged Bear "Success is dependent on effort."JOINED: Jun 2008POSTS: 24,183 LIKES: 217 BUY/SELL RATING: +5 Re: PLEASE HELP!
