Access 2007 Filedatetime Function Error
from a 2006 post but I'm getting an Undefined Function error when I try to use it in Access 2007. Can someone tell me what reference I'm missing? I don't see anything marked "missing" in my references. Thanks! The function FileDateTime() will return when the file was created or last modified. Syntax : FileDateTime("File Path") http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...8ada&catlist=&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-us Jim, Sep 26, 2009 #1 Advertisements Klatuu Guest The function does exist in 2007. It is one of two things. It is either a VBA reference problem or your syntax is incorrect. I just did a test using 2007. Here is the results: ?filedatetime("c:\access\bagoftricks\tricks.mdb") 3/30/2009 11:21:30 AM -- Dave Hargis, Microsoft Access MVP "Jim" wrote: > I found the syntax below from a 2006 post but I'm getting an Undefined > Function error when I try to use it in Access 2007. Now my issue is getting it to work with a workbook that's on Sharepoint. It will give me the modified date and time for files on my C drive, but when I put the full Shareponit path, it says "file not found". Is it possible to use this function to get the specs for a file on Sharepoint? "Klatuu" wrote: > The function does exist in 2007. It is one of two things.
