It is definitely installed and exists under "Programs and Features". Does anyone have a list of things that I can check to figure out what activex component can't is going on? I have now tried to register the DLL using regsvr32.exe /i bob.dll as suggested but I get this error: The Module "Bob.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "Bob.dll" is valid DLL or OCX file and then try again. I should note that this is a 32-bit application on a 64-bit machine at this point. It also works fine on my machine which is Windows XP 32-bit. dll vbscript activex windows-server-2008 dllregistration share|improve this question edited Oct 19 '12 at 12:43 bluish 9,4091269126 asked Mar 18 '09 at 4:09 GordyII 2,449123663 A quickie... Run RegAsm.exe to register the DLLs. Run the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe to run my VBScript. Thanks for all your help. ALSO if these don't work, check out the other answer here about enabling 32-bit applications. share|improve this answer edited Oct 12 '13 at 14:28 Ofer Zelig 11.3k43570

I recently installed the Evaluation edition of BizTalk Server, but am finding that I need to reinstall the software every time I log off(I am using the same logon throughout). The problem I think is that BizTalk cannot start the XLANG Scheduler COM+ component - If I try to start it manually (in Component Services) I get "Catalog Error: Error Code 80080005 - Server Execution Failed" more info: http://www.programd.com/118_4e0323a255219dd1_1.htm If I try to run the XLANG Schedule created in the Tutorial, via ExecuteTutorial.exe, the error message is "...ActiveX Component can't create object. Error: 429 (0x1AD)" BizTalk is unable to run any XLANG Schedule, I also have a Schedule setup which is activated via a File Receive Function. This fails also. The System Log reports the following error every minute (at least!): "The server{bla bla bla}did not register with DCOM within the required timeout" The only solution I have found is to reinstall &
